We had loads of fun this St Patricks day!
We started our day with a powhiri welcoming visitors from Japan and Sunshine books.
Then after first break Habitats 8, 14 and 16 went on a treasure hunt!
The challenge was to work together as a group to find and solve clues hidden around the school.
The teams worked really well together, demonstrating icare values (citizenship, attitude, responsibility and empathy).

Students worked together to solve each clue in order to find the leprechauns pot of gold and spell out the secret word!
(ask your child if they remember the secret word)
At times it was challenging to find and solve the clues, some found the heat challenging, and for some it was tempting to run ahead and abandon their group; but everyone stuck together and worked as a team!
Congratulations to all of the teams on successfully completing your challenge and finding the leprechauns pot of gold!
We even had a dance party afterwards to celebrate!
