Buddy Class
Today we met up with our buddy class Habitat 8 for buddy reading and fitness.
It was great to see tuakana-teina learning in action!
We challenged the children to come up with some new games and to then teach each other.
The big kids showed us some tennis and hockey skills.
We came together at the end for a korero and to reflect on our learning.
The students decided that next time Habitat 8 could teach us some reading strategies, as well as some basic throwing and catching ball skills.
We have a few tricks up our sleeves and might teach them a few skills too!
