Hedgehog heads!
We have been learning how to write instructions this term.
We discussed different types of procedural writing. Most of us know how to read a recipe and follow lego instructions, science experiments and board game rules.
Last week we googled ways to make playdough and wrote instructions so that we could make playdough for maths.
This week Chloe showed us her hedgehog grasshead. She helped us make a list of ingredients and we wrote our own instructions.
We remembered that our instructions need a title, a list of ingredients and step by step directions (method).
Then we followed each step in our instructions to make our own hedgehog grass head.
We have been watering our hedgehogs every day and making sure they get plenty of sunshine.
